Tesla Stock Jumps 20%…Makes No Sense

“Referenced Symbols

Tesla shares rose almost 20% Monday, hitting another all-time high. The question is why? The move, frankly, baffled investment pros.

Few dispute things are looking up for the electric vehicle pioneer, but few understand the magnitude and persistence of the rally. The pros, however, offered a few idea when asked. And some even guessed what could be next for shares.” ~ BARRON’S

AMD: Latest Campaign Has Several Targets

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) celebrates 50 years of corporate history.

After reaching 50 years of corporate live, AMD has several key “50” targets.

A $50 stock would be a new all-time high for that a stock that peaked in 2000.

A 50% gross margin would allow the company to smash 2021 EPS estimates of $1.12.

The stock is cheap at $26 as the market realizes that gross margins are headed towards 50%+.

On May 1, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) celebrated 50 years of corporate history. The logo and celebration can easily relate to the company being in business for 50 years, but for shareholders the goal could easily be a target price of $50 or a gross margin goal of 50%. My bullish thesis supports both goals as legitimate targets.

Analysts weigh in on AMD’s (AMD +12%) Computex product roadmap and a followup statement that one third-gen Ryzen chip outperformed an Intel (INTC -2.4%) CPU by more than 16%.

Stifel’s Kevin Cassidy: “This announcement represents the first time AMD has taken the desktop CPU lead process technology and performance lead from Intel in its 50-year history.”

Cassidy expects AMD to accelerate its PC market share gains through a combination of higher performance, lower power usage, and upgrade ease.

Wells Fargo’s Aaron Rakers says the “presentation reinforced our positive thesis on AMD’s product cycle/sustainable share gain story looking into 2H2019.”

AMD will release new Radeon RX 5700-series graphics cards in July and third-gen, Zen 2-based Epyc server chips in Q3.

AMD demonstrated the new Radeon cards outperforming rival Nvidia’s (NVDA -0.2%) cards.

Adesto ~ Non-volatile memory

Adesto Improves System Performance

Non-volatile memory (NVM) is a key component at the heart of every system design. It holds critical data, controls how the system boots, and affects overall performance.

Choosing the right NVM is key. At Adesto, we’re here to help. Our wide range of NVM products offer an array of features designed to help tune and optimize your system.

Octal xSPI ~ Memory Blazingly Fast. Low Power Consumption

With the need for greater processing performance at lower power, execute-in-place is quickly becoming the architecture of choice for IoT devices. EcoXiP’s blazingly fast performance and low power consumption allows even time critical software to be executed directly out of non-volatile memory, reducing boot time and system cost.

Wafer/KGD ~ SPI Memory

Adesto standard and high temperature die products with energy-saving features are suitable for IoT SIP solutions, motor drives, actuators, and sensors for consumer, industrial and heavy industry, even in harsh environments. Adesto’s memory solutions also offer a wide range of complimentary features to bring greater benefit and value to the system.

GOPH Gopher Protocol, Inc

Gopher Protocol Announces Filing of Non-Provisional Patent Application for Microchip Technology

Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) (“Gopher”) ( is a development-stage company which considers itself a native IoT creator, developing Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled mobile technology platforms.  Gopher has a portfolio of Intellectual Property that, when commercialized, will include smart microchips, mobile and security applications and protocols, and supporting cloud software.

Gopher’s system envisions the creation of a global mesh network.  The core of the system will be its advanced microchip technology that can be installed in any mobile or fixed device worldwide. Gopher envisions this system as a low-cost, secure, private mesh network between any enabled devices, providing shared processing, advanced mobile database management/sharing and enhanced mobile features as an alternative to traditional carrier services.

Gopher Protocol (OTCQB:GOPHappointed Douglas Davis as Interim CEO

Gopher Protocol (GOPH)

Gopher Protocol (GOPH) core technology is a revolutionary new platform enabling products that will change the way people interact with technology and each other, because we believe that improving communications will benefit the modern world. GOPH Microchips communicate via a private, secure protocol and can interact with internal states – microchips communicate with other microchips – and external environments – microchips interact with cell phones, mobile apps, computers, tablets, tracking devices and many other digital devices, with access to conventional networks (WiFi and Cellular).

Our goal for GopherInsight Microchips is to be installed in billions of mobile devices by the year 2020. This will allow GOPH to create its own private secure communications network that will enormously benefit organizational and individual users. We will utilize this private secure network to improve the computing power, database management, internal memory, and security of devices equipped with GopherInsight Microchips. The potential is enormous and we are constantly developing more advanced features.
